Wilburn Eugene Henderson was born August 15, 1918 in Lone Wolfe, Oklahoma to Percy and Mary Lou Henderson. He departed this life on May 23, 2012 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Wilburn graduated from Hobart High School and attended Oklahoma City University. He had a lifelong career in sales but loved fishing, farming, football, golf, and most of all his family. Wilburn was a member of Portland Avenue Baptist Church for 58 years. Wilburn was preceded in death by his parents, brother Chester Henderson and sisters Vola Montgomery, Kathryne Henderson and Louise Heiney. Wilburn is survived by the love of his life Etta Henderson to whom he was married seventy two years. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law Randy Henderson and Sheri Henderson of Oklahoma City, sister-in-laws Betty Reynolds and Leora Henderson, many nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2012 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with Pastor Walter Mullican officiating.
