Velma Belle Marvel, 86, went to Heaven on May 7, 2014 in Midwest City, OK. She was born on March 15, 1928 in Wichita Falls, TX to Virgil Seay and Maggie Lee Elliott. She married Charles Grady Marvel on January 16, 1970. Velma loved to cook, sew and garden. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Grady; four brothers: Jack Elliott, Leroy Elliott, Donald Elliott and Doyle Elliott; and her children with Elton Case: Linda Sue and Larry Eugene. Velma is survived by two sons: Dennis Case and Gary Case; three step daughters: Carolyn Winston, Linda Harris and Gayle Dollarhide; four grandchildren: Sheryl Evans and husband Tom, Diane Stockinger, Gary Case and Tim Case; step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren: Tyler, Shaylee, Grady, Ian, Gavin and Ella; two brothers; Leon and wife Peggy Elliott and Joe and wife Kathy Elliott; one sister and best friend, Helen Hoyle; and numerous nieces and nephews. Velma fought a long term battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Funeral Services will be held at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd, Oklahoma City, on Saturday, May 10th at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Edmond. To leave your condolences please visit www.eisenhourfuneral.com.
