Troy Everett McGuire Jr. was born January 26, 1954 to Troy Everett McGuire Sr. and Frances Lea (Moneyhun) McGuire in Albany, Oregon. Troy entered into eternal peace on October 5, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Troy received an associate’s degree in Physical Therapy, which he used to become a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). He married Jana McCutcheon in 1984 and the two had a son together, Nathaniel. Though Troy and Jana divorced in 1989, the two never stopped caring for each other. Troy was known to have a dry sense of humor but his family admired him most for teaching them how to be responsible and a genuine, good person. His perfect day would consist of playing golf, spending time with family, and talking about football with his friends.
Troy is survived by his son Nathaniel McGuire of Tulsa, OK, brothers Roger and David McGuire of Rogers, AR, sister Sharon Goforth of Daleville, VA and partner and friend Jana McCutcheon of Yukon, OK.
