Everett “Terry” Hedgecock was born on April 24, 1927, in Duncan, Oklahoma to Parents John R. and Clara Mae (Straily) Hedgecock. Terry passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 14, 2022, in Edmond.
He grew up in Chickasha, Oklahoma where he attended High School. After some time spent in school, he joined the Army as a rifleman in World War II.
Once settled down, Terry started up his own business, Hedgecock T.V. and Appliances, which he owned and operated for over 30 years.
Some of his preferred genre of music was old time country, western, and gospel. Not only did Terry enjoy listening to music, but he loved playing the fiddle as well. He shared his love for playing with the people around him. He joined a senior citizens band as a fiddle player where he was presented many civic awards.
His favorite past times would include sitting on the porch with a nice hot cup of coffee, watching OU football, and playing dominoes. However, nothing would fill him up with happiness and laughter like watching his great grandchildren and watching his cat, Joy, play.
He would teach others on how to have integrity. To be loving, but strong, just like the color blue, which is his favorite color. Terry was also a 32° Mason.
Terry is preceded in death by his Brothers, Roy Hedgecock of Conroe, TX, Dwayne Hedgecock of Lawton, OK, and Clifton Hedgecock of Chickasha, OK.
Terry is survived by his wife of 3 years, Charlene; Daughter, Terri Revell of Edmond, Oklahoma; Granddaughter, Karna Fricke and husband Ryan Fricke; Great Grandsons, Tristan Strunk, Slade Strunk, Sawyer Strunk, and Reese Fricke; Sister, Jimmie Fay Holderman; and Cat, Joy.
