Tammy Joe Sweeney was born to Bill and Beverly Jackson in Tulsa Oklahoma on August 16, 1949. She met Allen Sweeney and they married June 1, 1969. Together they welcomed their children, Eric and Dana, and built a beautiful life together, ensuring their children had stability, experience, loyalty and knowledge. One of her proudest accomplishments was being a beloved Grandma Tammy to her only grandchild Addison. Tammy was a magnificent artist and could make anything she set her mind to doing. She loved animals and always had several dogs and a cat. Tammy was a devoted Grandmother, Mother, Wife and friend. Everyone who knew Tammy loved her. She was fun, witty, funny, talented and her laugh was contagious. She loved and laughed often and freely. If she saw someone in need, she helped them. Her heart did not allow anything otherwise. She was a strong and wise woman who gave wonderful advice. She was loyal and kind. She had a strong personality and opinions but she was never closed minded, and as a result she instilled this in her children as well as her granddaughter. She loved music, art and theatre. She was an amazing cook and anyone who got the treat of trying her special avocado sandwich or her chicken chili became lifelong fans. Tammy had a talent for taking ordinary household things and making them beautiful. If she saw something she liked, she could recreate it. Tammy was one of a kind, and will never be forgotten. It is comforting to know that she is reunited in heaven with the love of her life for their 50th Anniversary. We love you Grandma Tammy also known as GG (God’s Gift.)
