Susie “Sue” Lucille Campbell, 83, passed away on September 24, 2010. Sue was born December 22, 1926 in Greensburg, KS to John Clarence and Gertrude Marie (Laird) Unruh. Sue enjoyed waterskiing at Lake Tenkiller, basketball, quilting, reading, spending time with her family, and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis Vernon “L.V.” Campbell; daughter, Sheila S. Smith; siblings, Ray Gene Unruh and Bonnie Noyes. Survivors include her son, Vernon L. Campbell and wife Linda; grandchildren, Donna, Terri, Christie, and Kimberly Smith of OKC, Candis Ross and husband Dan of Harrah, OK; grandchildren by choice, Courtney Koster of MWC and Ryan Shetley of Moore; several great-grandchildren and one special great-granddaughter, Hallee Ross.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
