Sue was raised in Missouri, spending most of her life in Neelyville, Missouri from 1957 to 1982, before moving to Oklahoma City.
Sue was the life of the party and loved to dance and go out on the town. She could also be found at the casino winning money with her lucky eyeball. It brought her joy to be with family and they spent countless hours laughing together.
In 1997, Sue suffered a traumatic brain injury and for many, this would have caused them to spiral down a dark path but not Sue. She focused and relearned to walk, talk, eat – everything you learn as a child. She was truly a miracle. She taught those who witnessed her growth during this time to NEVER GIVE UP!
Sue is preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers Larry Purdom and Garry Purdom.
She was a loving mother, sister, nana and friend to: son Daniel “Chad” Cochran and wife Courtney Cochran of Paragould, AR; daughter Christy Danyel Capps and husband David Capps of the Village, OK; brother Robert Purdom of Oklahoma City, OK; her sister whom she shared a special bond with Karen Jean Purdom and wife Jennifer Parker of Yukon, OK; grandchildren Dylan Capps, Tyler Capps both of Oklahoma City, OK, Chloe Cochran, Camille Cochran, Caraline Cochran all of Paragould, AR; 2 nieces and her baby Sissy.
