S.J. Wigley, 89, was born on October 31, 1920 to Walter and Lillie Wigley in Maysville, OK and passed away on August 14, 2010 in Oklahoma City, OK. Major Wigley is a retired Air Force pilot with 24 years of service. He entered active service prior to WW II and served until January 1, 1964. He is a perpetual member of the Military Order of the World Wars; a life member of the Retired Officers Association; a member of Siloam Masonic Lodge, Guthrie Scottish Rite Consistory, India Shrine Temple and is a two time past director of the Greeters Unit of India Temple. He also served as an advisory member of the American Security Council for 10 years. S.J was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Virginia Montgomery Wigley, he is survived by his son Wendell Wigley and his wife Celeste of Malvern, PA and their daughter Cheyenne; son, Michael Wigley and his wife Sabrina of Santa Fe, NM and his children Lynne and Eric; daughter, Stephanie Jones and her husband David of Germantown, TN and their children, Tristan, Keegan and Delaney as well as his sister, Lorraine Coker of Elk City, OK . Visitation will be held at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 from 8:AM until 9:PM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the Village United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park with full Military Honors. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
