Sherri Angelina Enyart passed away peacefully at the age of 56, on October 13, 2018. Sherri was born on March 21, 1962 in Ponca City, OK, to Ernest and Judy Enyart. One of Sherri’s achievements was earning her cosmetology license. Before retiring in 2012, Sherri worked as a government contract specialist. When Sherri wasn’t working, she found time to enjoy gardening, being with her grandchildren, bingo, traveling, making crafts, but above them all, she loved fishing the most. If she wasn’t fishing or playing bingo, you could find her watching horse races or OU football. Sherri’s proudest moment in her life was the birth of her two children, granddaughter and three grandsons.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Judy Adele Enyart (Crisp); grandparents, Melvin and Lenora Crisp; aunts, Jean Anne Scott and Jonni Enyart; and uncles, Melvin Crisp Jr., Ronald Lewis and Melvin Scott.
Sherri is survived by her father, Ernest Ebbon Enyart Jr.; son, Nicholas Welch and wife Jessica of El Reno, OK; daughter Kristan Welch and husband John Simpson of Yukon, OK; life partner, Larry Wells; brother, Scott Enyart of Houston, TX; sister, Cindy Hall of Yukon, OK; granddaughter, Angelina Weiss; grandsons, Maxton Silva, Briar Welch, and Rhett Welch; two nephews, Chris Hall and Ethan Hall and one niece.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. In honor of Sherri’s life, the funeral service will be on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill.
