Sandra Mae Hunziker-Hooper

Sandra Mae Hunziker-Hooper, 71 traveled to her final distant horizon on October 15, 2022. Sandra was born in Tulare, California on March 20, 1951 to Leonard and Myrtle Hunziker. She resided in Mustang, Oklahoma. She attended Oklahoma City Public Schools and Crooked Oak Public Schools for General Education. She received a degree of Associate in Arts at Rose State College. She continued her education at the University of Central Oklahoma earning a degree of Bachelor of Science in Education. Throughout her college education, she was dedicated to her studies achieving a place on both Presidents and Deans Honor Roll. Sandra was a member of the Indian Educators Federation and National Organization for Women. She retired from the United States Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs as an educator. Prior to becoming a teacher she was a homemaker, medical transcriptionist, carrier for the United States Postal Service, owner of Discount Vacuum, and a secretary for National Steel Service Center. Sandra was intelligent, adventurous and loved education. As an avid traveler, she traveled across the United States and numerous places around the world. Along with her many adventures her greatest joy was spending time with family, camping, reading, and going to her Cabin at Cedar Lake. She was a collector of Jewelry, a knowledgeable lover of politics. She is survived by her Children Shonsea & Randy Stanfield of Lexington, OK. Shannon & Richard McGuire of Oklahoma City. Ricky & Jamie Spencer of Tuttle, OK. 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Leonard & Myrtle, brothers Jackie & Jerry and sisters Donna & Carolyn, and husbands Albert Saballa III, Ricky Spencer and Bob Hooper.

A visitation for Sandra will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service-South Chapel, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A committal service will occur Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 500 SW 104th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73139.

Sandra will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memory Gardens, 500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139.
