Ruth "Big Mama" Ann Kimble

Ruth received her education in Oklahoma City and continued on in the field of retail where she retired after 50+yrs of service in 1998 and started a new career in the medical field taking care of people as she has always loved to do.

Ruth was a faithful and very active member of Followers of Christ Baptist Church from around 1981 to present. She enjoyed reading her bible, watching the hallmark channel and girls' basketball, taking care of people, and spending time with her family and friends. Ruth didn’t talk much but when she spoke it was always words of wisdom. Her loving giving spirit will be missed by all.

Ruth was proceeded in death by her husband of 35yrs, Lawrence Kimble, brother Ronald Pearl and Sisters Della Smith (Bennie) and Eva Ruth-Neely (Lab). She leaves to cherish her lovely memories her daughter Carol A. Price (Kimble); her three grandchildren Alphonso Lawrence Kimble (Antwonette), Ciarra D. Dozier (Durell), and Della Kimble; brother Sylvester Pearl (Ivory); sister Alfredia Hogan; one aunt Viola Miller; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service for Ruth will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Followers of Christ Baptist Church, 1125 NE 36th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73111.
