Ruby M. Selvidge

Ruby M. Selvidge, 81 year-old resident of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma, passed away January 10, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born October 8, 1931 in Billings, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Bill and Marie Majors LeGrand. Ruby was a longtime resident of Nicoma Park and had worked for the State of Oklahoma as a computer operator for many years. She was a great seamstress sewing clothes for her family and loved crafts, especially upholstery. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elwood Selvidge, Sr.; and one daughter, Karla Gail Selvidge. Survivors include 1 son, Elwood Selvidge, Jr. and his wife Ada of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma; 3 granddaughters, Kimberly and her husband Tony of Midwest City, Oklahoma; Misty Selvidge of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma; Mindy Selvidge of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma; 1 brother, John LeGrand of Missouri; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73141 with burial following at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma.
