Ronald “Ronnie” Holden, was born May 13, 1949 in Stillwater, OK to Clarence “Chuck” and Betty Holden. He went to his Lord and savior on December 14, 2019 in Yale, Oklahoma. He graduated from Berryhill High School in 1967, then went on to earn a degree in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University. He served his country in the Army Airborne division.
Ronnie cherished the family farm in Flagler, CO, spending many vacations there. He enjoyed the outdoors and taught his sons to hunt and fish. He had a passion for muscle cars, passing that passion onto his sons. Family came first for Ronnie and was his primary passion. He enjoyed getting together with family and friends as often as possible. Ronnie never met a stranger, many times turning a 10 minute conversation into hours. He liked to share his love for the Lord with those around him.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Clarence “Chuck” Holden. He is survived by his mother, Betty Holden; wife, Charleene Holden; sister, Diane Holden-Mathey and husband Bob; sons: Mark Holden and wife Stacey, Tim Holden and wife Tiffany, and Jeff Holden; stepson, Chuck Slayton; grandchildren: Bryson, Gracie, Sutter, Ava, Lilla, Afton, Kambyr, Katelynn, and Charles; two great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
He will dearly missed by all.
