Robert Lee Ray, longtime Oklahoma City area resident, passed away February 12, 2010 at the age of 78. He was born November 26, 1931 in Pampa, Texas to S.J. and Maxine Ray. Bob served his country in the US Navy. He loved flying and got his pilot’s license after he was discharged from the military. He graduated from OCU in 1981. Bob retired from the FAA. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Wandell; and one great nephew. Survivors include his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Milton and Linda White and Twylah and Bob Dickson; aunt, Grace Ray; cousins, Reba Nell Bergman, David Ray, Gordon Ray Harrison and Billie Harrison; nephews, Michael White and Jeff Dickson; niece, Tammy Curry; great niece, Janna Curry; and great nephews, Thomas Dickson and Jonah Dickson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2010 in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
