Robert Carl Baxter

Robert C. Baxter, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away on January 10, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Robert was born in Oklahoma City, OK to James Robert and Betty Louise (Clarke) Baxter on August 26, 1951. Robert graduated from Putnam City High School in 1969 and attended the University of Oklahoma. He married Cathy Harrell on May 1, 1977 and was in the Oklahoma Air National Guard 205th from 1972 until his retirement in 1995. Robert enjoyed playing the drums, bowling and his family; especially his grandkids.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents; J.R. and Betty Baxter and Brother; Mark Baxter.

He is survived by his wife; Cathy Baxter, Children; Wesley Baxter and Wife Lara, Jennifer Gibson and Husband Tim, and Melissa Barry and Husband Kevin, Grandchildren; Tyler, Lindsay, Jacob, Matthew, Gage, Garrett, Veronica, Monica, Konnor, and Kaelynn, Sister; Sharon Pregler and Husband Jim, Sister-in-Laws, Brother-in-Laws, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, extended family and friends.

Family requests masks be worn at visitation and services.
