Paula Jean Long was born August 18, 1954 in Oklahoma City, the daughter of Paul and Wanda (Walters) Thrash. She passed from this life after a long illness, December 4, 2020 in Edmond, at the age of 66. Paula had lived in Oklahoma for the past 20 years, moving here from Texas. She enjoyed reading her bible and watching church on tv. She and Bruce Long were united in marriage on February 13, 2013 in Edmond. Paula was preceded in death by her parents and a sister. She is survived by her husband Bruce Long of the home; daughters, Ashley Long and Amanda Long of Guthrie; sisters-in-law, Pam Lopez and husband Larry and Teresa Long and son Zachary all of Oklahoma City; brother-in-law, Matthew Long of Guthrie; best friend, Vicki Grice, her sister, Rexann; nieces and nephews, Ryan, Annie and Nikki; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Paula was very kind and nice to everyone, even through trying times. She will be missed by all who knew her.
