Paula Sue Ervin, 59, passed away July 17, 2019 at INTEGRIS Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her family and friends describe her as sweet, hilarious, sassy, strong, loving, witty, brave, beautiful, courageous, resilient, and FUN. These are only a small fragment of the words that could be used to describe what an incredible person she was. Always the first with a witty comment. Always there to comfort when you felt like the world was falling apart. Always down for a laugh and a good time. Always her daughter, Adrian’s, biggest supporter and the most proud mother in the world. Adrian describes her as the source of everything good in her and anyone who had the privilege of having her in their lives. A hole will be felt by everyone who loved her. Her hope would be that her loved ones will keep her alive with their memories. Remember her enjoying things she loved like spending time with family; her nieces and nephews that brought so much happiness to her life and her sisters who were her best friends. Remember her hitting the casinos, crafting away to celebrate every holiday, working in her flower bed, snuggling with her dogs, watching Judge Judy, going to the State Fair and Affair of the Heart, and cruising and traveling with family. She always lived life to the fullest, no matter what else was going on. Honor her memory by embodying her lighthearted, positive, glass half-full approach to life even in the hardest times and always keep alive the things that were most important to her — the bond of family and unconditional love — these things that she knew holds everything together.
A private Celebration of Life is being planned for Saturday, July 20th at the home of her sister, Rita Smith, at 1:00pm.
