Paul Edward Taylor

Paul Edward Taylor, age 90, of Choctaw, OK went home to be with the Lord on October 9, 2020. Paul was born on July 20, 1930 in Dallas, TX to Ed and Maxine (Mitchell) Taylor. He attended school in Muskogee, OK graduating with the class of 1948. It was in school that he met his soulmate, Roberta Jeanne Maupin, and the two were married in 1948. Together they had two children: Rickie Edward Taylor and Paula Jeanne Taylor. Paul proudly served his country in the Naval Reserve. He often told people, “He came, he saw, he served, he loved and he went.” He is now reunited with the love of his life in Heaven, but those whom he has left will miss him dearly.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents: Ed and Maxine; his wife: Roberta; and his son, Rickie.

He is survived by his daughter, Paula Adams and her husband Joe; grandkids: Paul Taylor Adams and Staci Dawn Adams; and five grandchildren: Makailyn, Marti, Gabriel, Ryker and Kyzer.

Services have been entrusted to the care of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home located at 8805 NE 23rd St in Oklahoma City. A public visitation will take place from 4-8pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at the funeral home. A funeral service honoring Paul’s life will be held at 10am on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the First Baptist Church located at 2700 Main St. in Choctaw, OK. Burial will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City, OK.
