Patricia Irene Pinegar passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Patricia was born on February 18, 1930 to Fred Windler and Mary (Mitchell) Windler in Enid, Oklahoma. John and Patricia were married in Marshall, Oklahoma on November 23, 1949. Patricia attended OSU for 2 years. While raising 3 children and in retirement years, she enjoyed knitting, sewing and reading. Patricia also really enjoyed being a grandmother of 3.
She is preceded in death by her father, Fred John Windler; mother, Mary Leota Windler; brother, Richard William Windler; and husband of 49 years, John Thomas Pinegar.
Patricia is survived by her son, Kent Thomas Pinegar and wife, Flora of Arlington, Texas; daughter, Alison Annette Culpepper and husband, Don of Edmond, Oklahoma; son, Tracy Alan Pinegar and wife, Lynn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister, Margaret Elaine Shreve and husband, Kenny of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She also leaves behind three grandchildren and two nieces to cherish her memory.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 N.W. Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK 73162. A graveside service will be held in honor of Patricia’s life on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
