Pat attended Hawthorne Elementary, Taft Jr. High, Classen High School and Oklahoma State University. In 1951, she married her college sweetheart, Carroll Logan. For the next 21 years they traveled the world and made ten home-sweet-homes in various cities while Carroll was in the US Army. They retired in 1971 and moved back to Oklahoma City.
Pat loved life and her family and tried to make the most of every moment. She and Carroll had been married 60 years. They both loved square dancing with their many friends and were very active in forming the Neighborhood association. Pat was a member of D.A.R., Colonial Dames, Daughters of American Colonists, and Magna Charta Dames.
To the surprise of her children, Pat was also a fair shot with a rifle, knew how to bait a hook, and had no problem mucking for crawdads or wielding a hammer. Like most of those from her generation, she enjoyed squeezing the best from a dollar and had no trouble with a hard day’s work.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jim Shaver. Pat is survived by her daughter, Janet Lowrey of Edmond; son, David Logan and wife Cathy Logan of Oklahoma City; her grandchildren who were her pride and joy: Nathan Logan of Oklahoma City, Elizabeth Logan of Oklahoma City, and Jason Lowrey and his wife Jessica Lowrey of Lakewood, CO; and great-grandchildren, Dylan Lowrey and Harper Lowrey.
At Pat's request, there will not be a funeral service.
