Dick attended Ryan high school. After graduating high school Dick went on to work as a contractor for both construction and the oil pipeline industries. He was also an avid horse trainer and rancher. Dick enjoyed going to church, going to rodeos, and team penning. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Dick was big football fan and enjoyed watching his favorite teams the OU Sooners and the Dallas Cowboys. One of Dick's favorite vacations was when he went with his kids, Deanna and Haskell to Arkansas to see the Jesus Show. Some of Dick's greatest and proudest moments were being apart of the national finals penning team on his horse Blaze, his 7 great kids, and finding his Lord and Savior Jesus. Dick served in the United States Navy playing a key role in both the Pacific War and World War II he was later honorably discharged after his faithful service.
Dick was a member of the Assembly of God and regularly attended church in Harrah, Oklahoma. He was also a member of the AQHA and the Remington Park race track. Dick has many trophies and ribbons from his time spent horse-riding.
Dick is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Samuel Driskill and Lulu (Leddon) Driskill; sister, Juanita Hill; sister, Jean Womack; sister, Collen Tippton; sister, Alpha Walker; brother, Jerry Edward Driskill; and his son, Richard Driskill.
He is survived by his son, Roy Driskill and wife Nancy; daughter, Brenda Driskill; daughter, Sue McGee; daughter, Deanna Robbins and husband Haskell; daughter, Donna Kennedy; daughter, Kristie Smith; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.

A visitation for Dick will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Bill Eisenhour NE Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK.
