Nelson Edward Keller died peacefully at home on January 20, 2011, at the age of 96. He was born in Oklahoma City, August 27, 1914, to Edward and Cornelia Keller. He graduated from Classen High School in 1932. He worked for General Electric Supply, Douglas Aircraft during WWII and in 1947 formed Gas and Electrical Equipment Company. He served on the Oklahoma City Council, was Chairman of the Public Employees Relations Board, is a Past-President of the Oklahoma City Sales & Marketing Club and was active in many civic organizations. He was married to Francile Case for 50 years, and they had two children. After Fran's passing in 1988, he married Dorothy Cobb, and they spent over 20 years together taking many foreign trips which he enjoyed. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Germaine. He is survived by his children: Edward & wife Elizabeth of Midwest City, OK; and Janet Davis Hart & husband Bob of Santa Rosa, CA; grandchildren: Doug Hutchinson & wife Nancy, Kim Leister & husband Gary, Mickie Garcia & husband Joe, Vicki & husband Tony Dellinger, Amy McWhirter & husband Marty, Brian Keller & wife Vickie, Kestral & husband Jorge Garcia; along with many greatgrandchildren and greatgreat-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at the Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Chapel, with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
