Growing up in Texas, Nancy finished high school and went on to graduate from East Texas State, now Texas A&M at Commerce with a Master’s degree in Education. Nancy had a passion for teaching and had done so until she retired after 50 years. She loved teaching children how to read, as it was her true calling.
On July 28, 1972, Nancy married the love of her life Larry A. Jones and they spent 52 wonderful years together. Nancy and Larry decided to move to Oklahoma in 1978, where they found their forever home and began growing their family. Nancy and Larry had three wonderful children together that they adored.
Nancy loved God and taught her children to love and have faith in God as well. She showed her children how to be grateful for every good thing in life, as those are not always promised. Nancy enjoyed the little things in life and loved to be with her family and friends, creating precious memories.
