Michael Floyd Styron

Michael F. Styron, 62, passed away February 22, 2011 in Oklahoma City. He was born July 27, 1948 in Oklahoma City to Floyd and Rvena (Barnard) Styron. Michael was a proud member of the Acacia Fraternity at the University of Central Oklahoma. He worked for over 40 years with the Rainbo/Sara Lee Company. Michael loved his job and the friends he made there, in his fraternity brotherhood, and those he met throughout his life. He was a diehard OSU fan! Michael was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 36 years, Susan Styron; loving sister, Carol Sue West, her husband, Alex; sister and brother-in-law, Diane & Chuck Henry, Mary Lynne, and Bob Hladik. Nieces and nephews, Cassie, Adam, Lauren, and Tyler Rohn; Colleen Henry and Steve Kohn; Bill, Maureen, Billy, and Patrick Henry; Lisa, Ray, and Laney Lewis; Bryan, Charlie, Zoe, and Stella Henry. Lastly, our many angels in the form of Hospice, Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Sorority & Fraternity brothers and sisters, friends, the Taft family and Mike’s two most important angels, Mercedes Campbell, and his loving caretaker and special friend, Robert Wilkerson.
