Michael J McCoy

McCoy, Michael Joseph, 77, of Harrah, OK passed away January 16, 2012. He was born in Bradley, ILL June 23, 1934 to Joseph Henry and Harraldine Laura (Hasmeyer) McCoy. He retired in 1973 as Staff SGT from the U.S. Air Force and retired Civil Service from Tinker in 1989 in sheet metal. As a young man he enjoyed playing sports, particularly Basketball as well as golf. Michael also enjoyed traveling in his R.V. with Sybil. Preceding him in death are his parents, one daughter, Joanne McCoy, sister, Joanne McCoy and brother, Dennis McCoy. Survivors include his wife Sybil (Cook) McCoy of the home, one son, Richard McCoy and wife Connie of Del City, OK; one daughter, Jennifer Orr and husband Montie of Harrah, OK; five grandchildren: Brett McCoy, Jamie Roberts, Alisha McCoy, Angela Miles and Cody Orr; eight great-grandchildren: Brayden, Ally, Tristan, Cade, Caylon, Annabelle, Monica Miles and Devin Miles; also three brothers: Terry McCoy, Pat McCoy and Tim McCoy; and many other nieces, nephews, and other family members. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour N.E. Funeral Home with burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens. The family requests any memorial donations to be made to the American Cancer Society in Michael’s name.
