Mary Louise Runion, 73, passed on to her heavenly home on January 29, 2016. She was born January 15, 1943 to parents Robert and Sara “Peggy” Griffiths in Amarillo, Texas. Mary grew up and was baptized in Nichols Hills Baptist Church and was a graduate of John Marshall High School as well as a nursing student at the University of Oklahoma. She was a homeroom mom, a Camp Fire leader, a member of a square dancing club, and was also the owner of Runion Furniture, Heritage House Furniture, Image House Furniture, and Deck n Den. She absolutely loved lemon drops and a good game of Canasta. Mary liked the finer things in life, like getting her nails done, and she loved to be pampered. She always liked to look nice and stylish, and in her later years, she loved sparkly (bling) clothes. Mary knew how to have fun with family, friends and a “good ol strong Long Island iced tea." Mary had a keen memory, loved animals (her dog Breezy), cared for people and took them in. She loved her girls, and is survived by daughters Kelly Clem-Everhart and husband Scott, and Kristie Sullens and husband Johnny Sullens; brother Bob Griffiths and wife Jodie; sister Linda Barnes; grandchildren, Jarrett Clem and wife Danielle, Justin Clem, Jacob Everhart, Jessica Everhart, and Jennifer Jackson, and John Romeo Sullens; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
