She enjoyed her years with her various sororities and her Red Hat ladies. Jeanette spent more than 40 years of her life as a hairdresser. She called Chickasha, Oklahoma her home, even though she lived in Texas half of her life.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel and Willie Mae Howell; her brother, Ronnie Howell; her daughter, Johnetta Norris; and great-nephew, Stone Gallaway.
She is survived by son Jack Norris of Chickash, Oklahoma, brother, James Howell and wife, Heidi, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister, Margaret Miller and husband, Glenn, of Edmond, Oklahoma; and sister, Linda Morris of Yukon, Oklahoma. She also leaves behind three nieces, one nephew, two great nieces, and five great nephews.
A celebration of life for Mary Jeanette will be held Friday, March 28, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 Northwest Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
