Mary Jane Kathryn Clark passed away October 13, 2017 at the age of 61. She was born in Astoria, Oregon, on July 25, 1956. She is survived by her life partner of 25 years, Judy Werner of Midwest City, Oklahoma as well as her mother, Kathryn Massey of McMinnville, Oregon. Mary Jane also leaves behind two sisters, Deborra Clark of McMinnville, Oregon and Denise and her husband Trevor Chase of Monmouth, Oregon. She also has one brother, Jerry and his wife Supinda Clark residing in Henderson, Nevada. Mary Jane is also survived by her step-mother, Lee Clark of Salem, Oregon and a number of nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her father Orrin Edward Clark, and her brother David Clark. Mary Jane was a very selfless, compassionate caregiver to all that needed her. Even with all of her physical disabilities she always found the strength to be there for others unconditionally. She had a wonderful personality, a great sense of humor, and the most beautiful smile! She was blessed to be surrounded by many life-long friends, whom she considered as family.
She was extremely passionate about her love for animals and rehabilitating abused animals with her patience, understanding, and a very gentle touch. Although she had multiple pets in her lifetime, the souls of Mary Jane and her precious beagle, “Buster,” will always be united for eternity! She enjoyed going on cruises, and she was an avid reader. Mary Jane was also a gifted photographer who had won a ribbon at the State Fair for her work. She had a talent for finding and photographing beauty and complexity in unlikely places. Her greatest joy was when her beloved brother Jerry set up a group motorcycle run, in her honor, into the mountains for her 60th birthday. Mary Jane worked as a Customer Service Agent in Retail Sales, and worked in Engine Records at Kelly Air Force Base. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mary Jane's name to any animal shelter of your choice.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2017.
Memorial services will be held in Oregon at a later time.
