Mary Sue Mason was born on June 14, 1937 in Collinsville, OK to Paul and Waunece (Wollaston) Mason. She was raised in Maud, later moving to OKC where she graduated from Capitol Hill High School. In her early years she was a homemaker, raising her 6 wonderful kids. She later went to work at the FAA before accepting a position in medical records at the VA. She retired in 2000, but not before making many wonderful friends at both the FAA and VA.
Sue was generous and enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, and cheering on the OKC Thunder. Spending time with her family was a priority for Sue. She enjoyed being a jokester and loved to make her family smile. She was truly the glue that held her family together and she was always the first to know what was going on with each of her kids and grandkids. She adored being a mom and grandma, and you could always find her cheering on her kids and grandkids at every sporting event – regardless of the weather.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Waunece (Wollaston) Mason; husband Verlas Fuller Sr.; two daughters: Paula Bratyanski and Shari Fuller; and a brother, Paul Mason Jr.
She is survived by her children: Pamela Jackson, Verlas “Boog” Fuller Jr. and his wife, Dawn Mahan-Fuller, Tony Fuller, Tina Pyle and husband Gary. She is also survived by her sister Connie McClendon and husband Dearl; and 9 wonderful grandchildren: Amber Giordano, Jordan Jackson, Lauren Fuller, Devin Fuller, Brandon Fuller, Madison Fuller, Ryan Bratyanski, Jacob Pyle, and Landon Hogan. She is also survived by many Wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
