Mary Addie (Brackett) Fields was born in Barber, OK on May 22nd, 1943. She is the eldest of 7 siblings from her Mother, Cindie (Holmes) Brackett, and Father, John Brackett. Mary is survived by siblings Charley Brackett, Jim Brackett, Jeff Brackett, Wilma Jean Highsmith, Johnny Brackett, and Olen Brackett, as well as several half-siblings; her 3 children Denning Fields, Brian Fields, Stephanie Fields, and their Father Merle Fields; 7 grandchildren: Kristen Fields, Amber Jennings, Dacota Fields, Tanya Stein, Denton Fields, Devin Foss, Allison Arnold; 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson on the way.
She is preceded in death by her Mother, Father, sisters Martha Brackett and Louisa Rollice, Nephew Dominic Rollice, Niece Pamela Torrez, and Daughter-in-law Sherry Fields.
Mary graduated from Sequoyah High School in 1961, where many of her relatives also attended. She was a life-long employee of the State of Oklahoma, having worked at the University Hospital and the Department of Health, and retired in 2002. Mary spent her retirement years loving and caring for her expansive family. She was adored by many, feared by some, and loved by all.
