Marilyn Alice Helms, 86, passed away July 13, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born October 20, 1932 in Columbus, Ohio, she was a longtime cafeteria worked for the Oklahoma City Public School System. Marilyn loved scrapbooking, collecting poems and interesting obits from the newspaper, drinking glasses, the cartoon “Dennis the Menace”, and especially spending time with her family. Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, and one sister. Survivors include two sons, John and his wife Karon Helms of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Daniel Eric and his wife Renee Helms of Mustang, Oklahoma, two daughters, Rebecca Bailey of the Village, and Elizabeth Helms of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Bernice Roller of Leavenworth, Kansas. Graveside services will be 9:00 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2019 at the Rose Hill Burial Park (Woodsbrook area), 6001 NW Grand Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73118.
