Marie Finch Merritt , 94, resident of Del City, passed away January 18, 2018 in Oklahoma City. She was born June 1, 1923 in Purcell, Oklahoma to John Martin Finch and Verda Hazel Estep Finch. Marie and her husband were longtime owners and operators of Merritt Funeral Home in Eufaula. She was a member of the Eufaula Eastern Star. Marie was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and two husbands, George Gregg (of 36 years) and Gene Merritt (of 35 years); Marie is survived by her daughters Verda White of Choctaw and Donna Gregg and Lonnie of Del City; son Gary and Sonya Gregg of South Padre Island, TX, nine grandchildren; many great grandchildren and a host of loved ones and friends.
