Marie Josephine Greene passed away November 23, 2011. Marie was born December 27, 1917 as Trudell in St. Croix, Wisconsin and at the age of 7 was adopted by Perry and Margaret Rathbun. On November 28, 1946 she married W.C. Greene, Jr. in Oklahoma City. Marie served three years as an Army Corporal and retired from the FAA after 13 years in 1978. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Surviving her are three sons; Robert of Arlington, TX, Richard and his wife Diana of Owasso, OK, and Ross and his wife Kari of Norman, OK. Marie is also survived by seven grandchildren, Robert Jr. and his wife Robin, Christopher and Ethan Greene, Aaron Greene, Amanda and Lance Delk, Annessa and Kelly Herneisen and Chelsea Greene, as well as five great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2011 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.

I enjoyed my visits with Marie.I met her when visiting my Aunt in assited living. I really enjoyed seeing her drawings and visiting with her.
