Louise was born in Stonewall, Oklahoma, on April 17, 1945, to John Gates and Nannie (Riddle) Gates. She attended school at Crooked Oak.
Louise was married to her husband, Billy Glenn Garvin on February 10, 1979.
Louise spent her working years for the Oklahoma Publishing Company. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking. Her greatest achievement was being a mom and a “Meme”.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, Billy Glen Garvin; sisters, Ellen Elizabeth Gates, Ella Mae Seward, Patsy Simons, and Elva McKiney; brothers, Elbert Gates, Johnnie Gates, and Wallace Gates.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandy O’Reilly and husband, Robert. Louise is also survived by her sister, Wanda Banning; grandchildren, Christopher Thornton, Seth Thornton, Brandon O’Reilly, Danielle Wilkey, Shawn O’Reilly; and great-grandchildren, Kimberlynn and Delainey Wilkey.
