Loraine Mae Sloan

Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Loraine Mae Drabek Sloan went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2011 at 10:20 p.m. Loraine was born June 6, 1928 to Elmer Drabek and Millie (Kadavy) Drabek. She married Delmer Sloan on June 20, 1946 and they enjoy many wonderful years together until his passing in 2004. They had four children, Brenda, Glynn, Kevin, and Donna, whom she is now reunited with in Heaven. Loraine loved her family and they were the most important part of her life. She was also an avid sewer and a wonderful seamstress. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Loraine is survived by her children, daughter Brenda Saathoff; son Glynn Sloan & wife Cathi; son Kevin Sloan & wife Diane; son-in-law Bob Jarrett; 11 grandchildren; Lynn Saathoff & wife Danyell; Carol Winfrey & husband Jeff; Terryll Jarrett & wife Marty; Jamie Jarrett & wife Melissa; grandson Sande Jarrett; granddaughters Krystl & Nicki Sloan & Tammy Thompson; Melisa Miller & husband Finis; and Jennifer & Cristin Sloan. She had 16 great-grandchildren; Taylor & Tanner Winfrey; Denise, Brena’, Emily, Trent, Elizabeth, Dusty, and Shae Saathoff; Brandon & Katie Jarrett; Caleb, Kyle & Conner Thompson, Cole Miller, and Ashley McGeehee, and finally, three great-great grandchildren, Erin, Taylor, & Rebecca Hale. Loraine is survived by her brother Ray Drabek and her sister’s-in-law June Drabek & Nita Drabek. She is preceded in death by her husband Delmer, her daughter Donna, and brothers E.J. Drabek, Don Drabek, and Richard Drabek.

Services are 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Snowhill Baptist Church, Tuttle, Oklahoma.
