Lola Mae Dill, 86, left this temporary home on the evening of October 31, 2016, to be with Christ our Lord in her forever home. Lola was born in Tahlequah, OK to Ira Lawton and Elsie Marie (Bolden) Hilton. She worked at the Sequoyah Club and the School of The Blind in Tahlequah and later moved to Oklahoma City. While living in Tahlequah, Lola married Roy James at the age of 16 and together they had 4 children. After moving to the OKC area, Lola worked for the Mid-Del Public school system and kept Monroney Junior High School looking immaculate. She even made sure the flower beds at her home and Monroney were perfect. After 65 years of working, she retired and began spending more time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Family meant everything to her. Lola is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lois; 13 siblings; and one grandchild. Survivors include her 3 children; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; 6 siblings; and many other friends and family members who will miss her dearly. A viewing will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 12:00-8:00 and Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 8:00-8:00. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 4, 2016 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
