Larry H. Pruitt, 64, died November 29th in Oklahoma City. He was born November 16, 1949, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Hulen H. (Tobe) and Vada Jane Pruitt. He is preceded in death by both parents and one sister, Gloria Powell of Garber, OK. He leaves behind two children, daughter, Jennifer Pruitt and son, Larry Wade Pruitt, his wife, Elisha and grandson, Jhett, four sisters, Glenda Sutton, Melina Cordero and husband, John, Peggy Milburn, Pat Hixson and husband, Eldon, one brother, Randy and wife, Katie. Larry lived his early years in Garber, Oklahoma graduating from high school in 1968. He attended Central State University for two years until drafted in the Army serving in the 45th infantry division. Larry worked at various energy related jobs until 1976 when Larry and his father formed L&T Oil & Gas Corporation, one of the fastest growing E&P companies in Oklahoma. Larry functioned as the C.E.O. of the parent company and its affiliates until sold in 1986. After a few years living in Colorado, he returned to the energy business as an investor in projects with his younger brother Randy and others in the oil and gas exploration and contract drilling business. Larry had many acquaintances in the world of entertainment and commerce along with countless others too numerous to mention. L.P. lived more in 64 years than most will in five lifetimes and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
