Larry Dean Cotton, 68 years old, was called home the morning of April 30, 2018 Larry was born on August 26, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Annie and Artie Cotton. In his younger days, Larry enjoyed league bowling and snow skiing at the slopes of Telluride, Co. Larry worked as a Senior Project Manager for San Juan Construction primarily in the South Pacific. Throughout his 20-plus year career with San Juan worked in Southern California, Hawaii, Singapore, Jakarta and Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. He retired in Spring 2017 and returned to his hometown, Oklahoma City. Before working with San Juan Construction, Larry was a master electrician and ran his own company. Larry was an avid golfer, team softball player, story teller and prankster. He enjoyed deep sea fishing on his boat while living in the Marshall Islands and freshwater fishing at Lake Texoma, where he spent time with family. Larry was a Vietnam War Army Veteran and a Member of the American Legion Post 44. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and sister Claire Anne Pruitt. He is survived by his wife Tammie and friend of 31 years; his daughter Danielle; son Jason; sisters Betty Lou, Margaret Katherine, Carolyn; brother Robert Joseph and a host of nieces and nephews.
