Larry Gene Burns, 66, passed away August 17, 2019 in Spencer, Oklahoma. Born July 29, 1953 in Ponca City, Oklahoma, he was the son of Leonard Glen Burns and Betty Jean (Bloxsom) Burns. Larry was self-employed in retail sales. He loved riding horses, selling at the Flea Market, fishing, and was a natural story-teller who dearly loved to tell stories. Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, Carolyn Burns, one brother, and one sister. Survivors include three daughters, Casandra and her husband Patrick Moore of Harrah, Oklahoma, Tammy Place of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Chasity and her husband Raymond Price of Ponca City, Oklahoma, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, 1 brother, Ricky Burns of Ponca City, Oklahoma, one sister, Vicky Owens of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and a number of nieces and nephews. Private family services will be held at a later time.
