She attended high school in Mesquite, Texas, and moved around from Oklahoma, back to Texas, to Pennsylvania then back to Oklahoma City where she retired. Kay retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons where she had worked her way up to Manager of Inmate Systems Department.
Kay taught her children that “you are only as sick as you can afford to be” teaching them a strong work ethic to carry throughout life. She enjoyed watching movies, cat videos that made her laugh, listening to the Gaithers and John Denver music, reading her Bible, and being surrounded by cats. Being around her children and grandchildren, and going on car trips with them was one of the most treasured times to her.
The relationships she had with her sisters and brother, Connie, Gwen and Noel, were ones she held dear to her heart.
She was a member of Quail Springs Baptist Church and a graduate of Draughon‘s Business College.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Kimberlie Seitter.
She is survived by her son Jeremy Garrison and wife Ashley Garrison of Yukon; son-in-law Chanin Seitter of Oklahoma City; siblings Noel Parsons and wife Dedra Parsons of Mustang, Connie Willeford of Garland, Texas and Gwen Lee of Oklahoma City; grandchildren Whitney Garrison, Devon Garrison, Dylan Garrison and wife Tailyn Garrison; great-grandchildren Willow Garrison and Riley Garrison; one niece and six nephews and too many cats to name.
