G. Lahoma (Goyer) Pratt passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 17, 2012. She was born at home on April 10, 1926 to Rufus and Sylvia Goyer in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Lahoma grew up and attended school with her many brothers and sisters in State Center and Choctaw. She went to work immediately after graduating High School at Southwestern Bell in the disbursement and accounting department. Lahoma married Harold Pratt in April of 1949. They were happily married for 49 years before his death in 1998. She leaves behind two sons, Stephen Pratt and his wife, Regenna, and Dr. David Pratt and his wife, Jan; five grandchildren, Dr. Brian Pratt, Kristi Bryant and her husband, Chase, and Leslie Pratt, Stephanie McCauley and her husband, Derrick, and Jeffrey Pratt; two great grandsons, Carson and Isaac Pratt; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends and neighbors. Lahoma was an avid OSU fan and loved to attend Cowboy sporting events. She was also an active volunteer with her church and the American Cancer Society. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Village United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
