Kenny Lee Franks, of Choctaw, OK passed away at his home December 12, 2013 at the age of 51. He was born October 8, 1962 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Raymond Lee and Georgia Faye (Weeden) Franks. Kenny was a Choctaw High School graduate. He loved wood work and had taught carpentry at the Vo-Tech in Medicine Park; helped build Pops in Arcadia; Epworth Villa; and Hampton Inn-Downtown. He was a member of Pott County Woodcarvers Association. He was very artistic and a cowboy, who enjoyed working with leather and making chaps. He also was a little league baseball coach. Survivors include his parents of the home; five children: Justin, Josh, Megan, Sasha, and Dakota; two sisters, Joretta Ikeda of Keller, Texas and Marcy McCalin of Midwest City, Oklahoma; and a number of nieces, nephews, family members and friends. A Memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Newalla, OK at 2:00pm, Saturday, December 14, 2013.
