In 1949, Ken graduated from Ottawa University and married Janiece. They were married for 47 years before her passing in 1996. In 1997 he met and married Eloise until her passing in 2014.
One of Kenneth’s biggest passions in life was doing literacy work, he did that for over 50 years. In 1964-65, he was one of three literacy mission’s workshop leaders. He trained tutors throughout Oklahoma. In 1988, he wrote and published a book for new readers titled “God’s Plan- The Story of the Bible”. It was still being used in the mission field around the world. It has been translated into Swahili, Vietnamese, and Portuguese. Ken also worked with Royal Ambassadors for Correctional Center from 1976-1991. Ken served several churches in the OKC area for many, many years as well
He was now with his Heavenly Father and family members that preceded him in death, wife Janiece Witt, wife Eloise Peters Witt, and son Paul Witt.
Ken was love personified and that love will live on in his daughter, Mary Witt Kirby (Tim) of Tacoma, Washington.
A visitation for Kenneth will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 Northwest Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73162. A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 8701 Northwest Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73162. A committal service will occur Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13313 North Kelley, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73131.
