Lee "Keith" Campbell went to be with his Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ on April 6th, 2015. Keith was lovingly cared for at home by his children, who ensured his last days were full of love and comfort. Keith was born to Lucile (Armacost) and Jack Campbell on February 20th, 1931 in Oklahoma City, OK. Keith joined the U.S. Naval Service as an Aviation Electronic Technician during the Korean War on his 17th birthday and was discharged on his 21st birthday. Upon returning to Oklahoma, he met and married the love of his life, Tommie Jean Mitchell. Keith and Tommie were married for 57 years. During their marriage they were blessed with two loving and devoted children, Sheryl Kay and David Keith. Keith and Tommie were also blessed with a son-in-law, Gerald Martin and a daughter-in-law, Jamie Campbell. Keith worked for AMF Pinspotters for 10 years installing bowling alleys. He then went on to work for Universal Joint Specialist in Oklahoma City as Store Manager where he retired in 1993. After retirement, Keith took up golf and played every Tuesday with a group called the FOOLs' (Fraternal Order of Linksman). Keith loved playing golf and bowling as often as he could and he as much loved spending time with his friends. Keith was a devoted and loving husband, wonderful father and a friend to many people. He was a kind and generous person who left an impression in this world and upon all who had the good fortune of knowing him. Keith will be deeply missed by many, but most of all by his children, Sheryl and David. Keith was preceded in death by his father, Jack Campbell; his mother, Lucile Campbell; step mother, Elsie Campbell; half brother, Wayne Galbraith; brothers, Jim and Jerry, sister, Mary Lou, and lastly, his precious and beautiful wife Tommie Jean. He is survived by a half sister, Jackie Sue Dickson of Nashville, TN, Sheryl and Gerald Martin of Oklahoma City, OK, David and Jamie Campbell of Oklahoma City, OK; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Services will be held on Friday, April 10th, 2015, 2:00pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK. Military Graveside Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery immediately following the service which will then be followed by a reception at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
