Charles Keigan Alan Stroud was born on March 21, 1994 to Randy Stroud and Andrea (O’Daniel) Stroud. He was raised in Tuttle and graduated from Tuttle High School where he discovered his love for art. He enrolled at OCCC where he studied art and film. He was employed at Jersey Mike’s, Sonic, and he also worked with his grandparents at Tri-City Trees. Keigan had recently begun attending Wednesday night services with his parents at Choctaw Road Baptist Church.
Keigan Stroud was a charismatic and independent free spirit who loved and enjoyed making people smile. His quick wit and bright smile got him labeled as the class clown. He loved reading JRR Tolkein books and listening to music. He was a talented chef and his Italian tomatoes were a family favorite. He also enjoyed eating pho, watching his “very satisfying videos” on youtube, and playing video games. He was never happier than when he was at the lake with his friends or spending time with his brother and sisters who adored him. Keigan packed more memories into his short 24 years of life than most people could in 100 years of life. He was a loving son, a protective brother, caring grandson, and a loyal friend who will truly be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents. He is survived by his mother Andrea Battle and husband Brandon; father Randy Stroud and wife Heather; a son Samwise Eugene Raymond Stroud; grandparents Neil and Joyce O’Daniel and Charles Kenneth and Carol Stroud; honorary Uncle Bubba; siblings Adyson Ramer, Skyler Ramer, Karly Battle, Asher Battle, and Julia Battle. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and other family members.
