Katie Beatrice West

She married Ezra Lilburn West and spent many happy years together until his death June of 2005. Shortly after that time, she moved to Kiowa to be closer to her daughter, Bonnie.

Katie enjoyed square dancing and quilting. She was became a lifetime member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary in 1994. She loved gardening and had the most beautiful flowerbeds.

Including her husband, Ezra, her daughter, Linda Sue Craig, preceded Katie in death. She is survived by her four children Brenda Lee Helton, Bonnie Pearce, Wyatt West and Timothy West and wife Anna; brother Frank Arthur and wife Charlie of Brownwood, TX; 14 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, August 6 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A graveside service to celebrate Katie’s life will be 10 a.m., Friday, August 7 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
