She was born in Oklahoma City on February 16, 1962, to Bob and Olean Trail.
She is preceded in death by her mama, Olean.
Kathy worked for the United States Postal Service in Spencer for over 20 years. She loved and cherished her mail customers. She also loved feeding stray dogs she found on her route and finding homes for them.
She was an avid gardener. She loved working with her hands. It didn’t matter what kind of flower or plant it was, she loved them all. She was like her mama, she had a green thumb.
More than anything in this world, Kathy loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She lived for him. She trusted God, her faith was strong. Kathy knew her time on this earth was over, but she never waivered. She knew she was bound for her brand new Heavenly home. This is what she lived for. She is now free from all pain, running down the streets of pure gold with Jesus and Mama.
She was a long-time member of the Altar Church and was involved in Helping Hands Ministry. Kathy never met a stranger. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. She would pray with you, or lend a helping hand. Her life was her testimony as to her witness for the Lord.
Kathy became mom to her brother, David, who has cerebral palsy. She took him under her wings and cared for him as a mother would. She made sure he attended every family holiday, especially Christmas and Thanksgiving. David was always the center of attention at her house and she made sure he knew he was loved. Her legacy will continue.
Kathy loved and cherished her family. She loved her kids, but her grandkids stole her heart.
Kathy is survived by her dad, Bob Trail; children, Jennifer and husband Jeramy Arrowood, Amber and husband Tyler Walker, Michael and wife Jourdain Upton; grandkids, Kaleigh and husband Chris Madewell, Stephen and wife Abbie Cox, Logan and Bri, Blake Walker and Haylee, Wyatt Walker, Karsyn Walker, Elowen Upton, Bently Arrowood, Asher Arrowood, Lillian Upton, Zackery and Kayden Cox; great-grandkids, Anthony Cox and Elizabeth Cox.
Kathy is also survived by her siblings, David Trail, Rosie and husband Alan Sanders, Mark and wife Tammy Trail; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of family and friends.
Kathy also had very close long-time friends residing in Arkansas that were more like family, Janella Hunt, Cheryl Hunt, Liveeta Bohanan, Kim Hunt, Teddy, Charlie, Kirk and Darren Sneed.
You will never know how much you meant to Kathy and our family.
Although Kathy is no longer with us, we know we will see her again in Heaven.
