Kathy Anne Dill

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy “Trigger” Dill and her daughter Tinia Anne. She is survived by her sister, Margie Schlessman; nieces, Donna Reaves & Colleen Schmitt who were her caregivers for many years. She has many nieces, nephews, stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and even a few step-great-grandchildren that can carry on her memory.

Kathy's love for animals was unparalleled, especially when it came to dogs. She fostered several dogs throughout her life, ensuring that they found loving homes and lived happy lives. Kathy also raised a couple of pigs and a parrot, showing her compassion and dedication to all creatures.

One of Kathy's passions was fishing for big ol' Catfish. She had a knack for reeling in the biggest ones, with one even being so large it filled her bathtub. Kathy also had a talent for bringing distant relatives back together through social media, reconnecting family members, and creating lasting bonds.

In her free time, Kathy enjoyed supporting the American Legion, VFW, and the Moose Lodge, where she was a proud member for many years. She enjoyed Bingo, football games, and of course some dancing. She cherished the time spent with friends, creating memories filled with laughter and mischief that will be cherished for years to come. Kathy also had a green thumb and loved growing marigolds in her pots on the front porch.

In lieu of flowers, Kathy would like donations to an animal shelter or dog rescue, or a charity supporting stomach cancer.

Kathy will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her love for animals, dedication to family, and passion for life will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.

A visitation for Kathy will be held Friday, April 19, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A graveside service will occur Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Jones IOOF Cemetery, N Hiwassee Rd, Jones, OK 73049.
