June was born July 7, 1936, in Hodge, Louisiana to mother Will Olive (Dodd) Peveto and father Oran Peveto Sr. and passed away peacefully on April 17, 2024 at 87. She left this world surrounded by her loving family and friends, who will forever cherish their memories with her.
June lived a life marked by her greatest achievement; graduating high school, and settling down to have her wonderful children whom she adored. She was very hard working and dedicated to her children, making ends meet as a waitress. She will be remembered for her love of camping, being at the lake, thrifting at estate sales, and ordering from the shopping networks. June was known for being a woman of many words, and will be remembered for being straightforward and to the point.
A perfect day for June would be sitting out on the porch, listening to Country music, and watching the people pass by while at the lake.
She will forever be cherished for her honesty, wisdom, and unwavering love. May June rest in eternal peace, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will never fade.
She was preceded in death by her parents Oran Sr., and Will Olive Peveto, and brother Oran Peveto Jr.
June is survived by her children James Dean LA Forge, and Mary Lisa Scrivner and husband Terry, and grandchildren; Cory Scrivner, Megan Scrivner, Faith LA Forge, and Jacob Scrivner. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation for June will be hosted on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service to honor June will be Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73162.
