Our sweet angel, Judith "Judy" Marie Hazen, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2020. Judy was born on December 28, 1939, in Douglass, Kansas. She was the daughter of Glen Floyd and Aura June Cochran. Judy graduated from Douglass High School and attended one year of Junior College, seeking to be a nurse. Judy began a nursing job at Wesley Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Shortly after, Judy was introduced to her dear late husband, Richard. After a steak sandwich and both sharing about their love for travel, they married six weeks later, on September 5, 1959, in Wellington, Kansas. Judy and Richard moved to Oklahoma in February 1962. Judy enjoyed church, traveling, singing, yardwork, shopping, being fashionable, and showering her family with love. Following the Lord relentlessly and having such a kind soul were her greatest attributes.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Aura Cochran; her husband, Richard Hazen; her grandchild Kirsten Hatfield; and one son, Michael Hazen.
